This past week, our team had the privilege of being invited to Kalamazoo Outdoor Gourmet’s Showroom located in Chicago’s West Loop. Their space, which they remodeled about a year ago, is all kinds of awesome! They fired up the grills for us and cooked up some incredible recipes.
The overall layout of their space is fantastic. Their kitchen area features 5 different grills, of which my personal favorite was the wood-fired Gaucho Grill (purely for aesthetic reasons).
After the chefs did their thing, we did our thing and devoured the 5-course meal that they so graciously prepared for us. The menu consisted of Grilled Pizza, Shrimp, Prosciutto-wrapped Asparagus, Steak with Pesto, and Ice-cream with grilled peaches (not to be confused with potatoes). All were divine.
After seeing their equipment up close and personal and learning more about the features and craftsmanship that goes into each and every one of their products, it’s no surprise Kalamazoo is considered the gold-standard of outdoor kitchens.
Their products are made right here in America and each worker that works on a grill hand signs a panel on the inside of it. Talk about another level of personalization!
